3 night retreat recap: Embracing the Five Elements
What an extraordinary weekend of connection, transformation and pure joy! Here’s how we moved through Ether, Earth, Air, Fire and Water together:
Friday Evening • Ether
As guests trickled in, we opened our circle with Vicki’s soulful mawashi ceremony—honoring the subtle energy that binds us. Chef Jamie treated us to an aromatic Indian-inspired feast, then Vicki led a restorative yoga session by candlelight.
Each of us received a beautifully curated gift bag, setting the tone for a weekend of mindful awakening.
Saturday • Earth
We grounded into day two with Tabitha’s sunrise “Earth” yoga flow, feeling every root extend into the mat. A vibrant Mexican-style brunch fueled our morning, followed by a gentle Qigong practice beneath dappled sunlight. At dusk, we shared a nourishing vegan Beltane dinner, then sank into deep surrender with Vicki’s guided Yoga Nidra—pure, rooted bliss.
Sunday • Air & Fire
A heart-opening yoga class in the shala with Tabitha greeted the element of Air: light, expansive and liberating. Claire’s magical gong bath carried us into a serene healing soundscape, then Michelle stoked our creative fire with a Vision-Board workshop.
After savouring Middle Eastern mezze, we gathered around the fire for a cacao ceremony, letting the cool night breeze carry our intentions to the stars.
Monday Morning • Water
Monday morning we flowed with Tabitha’s gentle “Water” vinyasa—fluid, cleansing and replenishing. Followed by Vicki closing our retreat circle with a final mawashi ceremony.
Fuelled up on a classic European breakfast, the group disbanded to flow back into everyday living with a new friendships, fresh perspectives and a profound sense of ease.
